  • Must have 13+ years of experience as a Project Manager
  • Must have a Project Management Professional certification (PMP or PRINCE2) OR a degree (Certificate/Bachelor/Master) in Project Management
  • Must have 5+ years experience working in a large government or private enterprise organization in the past 12 years with over 1000 employees
  • Must have experience managing, monitoring and controlling IT projects through all phases of the life cycle. They are: Initiating, planning, execution, Monitoring and Controlling, closeout
  • Must have 1+ year experience as a Project Manager managing Data Security projects

  • Must have experience leading projects using Agile and Project Gating methodologies in order to deliver work packages in an iterative, Agile approach

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum ten (10) years' experience
  • Minimum three (3) projects completing PM activities (project charters, dashboards, plans, RAID logs, project briefings to senior management etc.)
  • Minimum two (2) projects working as a senior PM, leading a minimum of three (3) junior project managers
  • Previous Stakeholder collaboration (internal + external) on at least five (5) projects, each valued at $5M+
  • Minimum two (2) projects Leading development of PMO and coaching/ mentoring project managers or Project Management Office (PMO) staff
  • Certified PMP designation from PMO

About the Role

The Scrum Master will focus on developing a new and innovative solution for aggregating and displaying company information. The role will be a facilitator who supports team members in applying Agile practices, processes, and behaviors for executing effectively and with quality; raises the performance of delivery teams through impediment management, continuous improvement, and ceremony facilitation.

Skills Required

  • Ability to implement an organizational system that provides structure to the team
  • Familiarity with SAS technologies/implementations
  • Experience working in financial services, banking or insurance industries
  • Minimum 4+ years as a dedicated Scrum Master
  • Advanced knowledge of the Agile principles and the Scrum Framework
  • Experience in software development
  • Scrum Alliance or SAFe certification
  • Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing

Assets

  • Experience with data platform Agile delivery
  • IFRS 9/IFRS 17 experience
